Published on 1st September, this is the sixth journal of The Munro Society, marking the 20th anniversary of the Society and is the biggest and most varied Journal produced to date.
There are over 330 pages with articles in six sections covering the exploits and adventures of people completing rounds and lists in Scotland, and accounts of climbing, walking and kayaking from around the world. There are also articles from those who have experience and interest in specific aspects of the mountain environment as well as personal reflections on hills held in high esteem by different writers. The pages are brought to life by just under 300 superb photographs and two appendices; one of poems and the other a photo-montage of the Society's activites and members over the last two decades.
The price of Journal No.6 is £12 plus p&p. Advance copies can be ordered by emailing: firstname.lastname@example.org
