Jim Closs has filmed and edited interviews with some of the earliest Munroists and produced three DVDs. A limited number of these are available and can be purchased from the society. The cost (including P&P) is £12.00 per DVD.

	Early Munroists Irvine Butterfield (Produced in 2008) Irvine Butterfield, author, photographer, raconteur and founder president of the Munro Society has worked tirelessly for mountaineering and conservation organisations for many years. Irvine 'compleated' on Ladhar Bheinn in Knoydart in 1971 and is listed as the 105th Munroist. Irvine is interviewed by John Burdin who 'compleated' in 1984 and succeded Irvine as President of the Society from 2004 - 06

Final Report on Phase 1

The Society has completed an initial survey of all Munro summits in terms of their environmental quality (the MQI Project), and, by summer 2009 a total of 574 assessments had been compiled by Society members.
