O. S. 1:25000 Electronic 'GetaMap' now shows the height of Beinn a'Chlaidheimh as 914 m
The
Ordnance Survey have started changing the height shown on their maps
for Beinn a'Chlaidheimh to 914 meters. This follows on from the
Munro Society's measurements in July. The height as measured by
Ordnance Survey from our collected data is
913.96 meters and this has been rounded up to 914 meters as
heights on Ordnance Survey maps are only shown to the nearest meter.
The overall accuracy of the height measurement is estimated to be
within 0.10 meters. The map above is from the OS 1:25,000
electronic 'getamap'.
